Are we there yet? No!

Hi Women and Power travellers, families, friends (and anyone else willing to read my ramblings!)

Yet again I have decided to record my impressions and musings as we launch ourselves into the unknowns of exotic India.

Yes...I have decided that I will attempt to stay calm in the face of the many challenges that face me when blogging these trips:

  • Erratic WiFi. I persevered through losing the WiFi every time it rained in Bali, or faded out on the bus in Sri Lanka or only worked in specific spaces at various hotels....etc
  • Inserting photos into the blogs in an appropriate spot and a size that can be seen - a great array of swear words have accompanied my attempts to download photos and then upload them into the blog!
  • Writer's block...usually as a result of being overwhelmed by fascinating experiences and how to  report them so they are in order and make sense
  • Too many fabulous choices. For example: Will I write the blog or....go and wallow in the pool with the others...or find a gin and tonic with lots of lemon....or go for a walk to explore another exotic place....or SLEEP!

So to my fellow travellers, I hope the packing is going well and is in line with Jenny's recommendations. Just remember, less is best and the chances of meeting the Queen and requiring tiaras and your best dress are low ( although anything may happen I guess!).

My best travelling tip is to not take anything you would be desperately unhappy to lose!

See you all soon

Dianne

PS please feel free to pass the blog address on to anyone who may be interested, particularly family and friends who are keen to know what you are up to! DA
